Join our local guide at the Kayamandi Trust Centre and accompany him/her on a walk highlighting the way of life in his/her town. We will make various stops along the way, of which the Kindergarten, the library and “Spaza Shops“ (informal stores) are the most popular .

In order to avoid the “voyeurism” effect, we encourage interaction so that guests and locals benefit from our visit. If necessary, and depending on the clients themselves, we facilitate this for example at the Kindergarten (crèche) with a game, which children and guests alike are encouraged to participate in.

The real highlight is the hands-on informal cooking session/demo, which takes place in a local family’s home in the township, before sitting back, chatting, relaxing and enjoying a typical meal with your hosts.
