Information:
Kayamandi is situated close to the historical town of Stellenbosch. The
township was built in the early 1940s as a result of upcoming apartheid
politics, creating a »black only« area close to the »white
only« Stellenbosch. Today however, Kayamandi is the home of a proud
and confident black community, some coloured families and even white inhabitants.
The warm and welcoming township is open to visitors from around the world.
Adjacent to the famous town of Stellenbosch, Kayamandi can be added to a
Wineland tour.
