In the heart of Cape Town City the Bo-Kaap, or the Malay Quarter, captures
the spirit and culture of a community known as the Cape Malays. The Cape
Malays, or Cape Muslim community, has largely contributed to the making
of the City's cultural melting pot.
An interactive guided walk with our knowledgable tour guide offers us an insight into
the culture, architecture and religion as well as recent political history
of the Bo-Kaap community. The tour includes a traditional Cape Malay teatime
snack offered at a Bo-Kaap familiy home.
