Day 1:

KIRSTENBOSCH & TABLE MOUNTAIN nature RESERVE

Your guide takes you up Table Mountain via Skeleton Gorge starting at Kirstenbosch Gardens. Before you commence the 3-4 hour hike you'll have the opportunity to spend the morning in the stunning botanical garden. The Table Mountain National Park is known to provide more species of plants than the whole of Scotland. Once on the top you can decide to take the cable car down or descend by foot on the City side of Table Mountain.
Day 2:

GREAT WHITE SHARK OBSERVING

The Cape South Coast is famous for viewing Great White Sharks and this totally exhilarating experience is open to us all! In a top-class fully equipped boat, discover the world of these breath-taking creatures at one of the world's top three sighting spots. Our team of highly skilled Dive Masters, a Level 3 Medic and skippers take you to the world-renowned Geyser Rock and Deyer Island off Gansbaai (approximately 250 km from Cape Town).

Or:

WHALE WATCHING ON THE WHALE WHISPERER

Accompany nature Conservationists on a Boat Whale Trip for a closer look at these awesome creatures and get more insight into their behavioural codes from South Africa’s most modern whaleboat. Spot whales with their young or playful whales frolicking just off the Cape coastline in the Hermanus/Gansbaai vicinity. Although the peak sighting period is between August to November, the months of June, July and December are also good.

Day 3:

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WITH BABOONS

Jeni, head of this endangered primate monitoring and conservation project, takes us on a spectacular guided walk through the Cape Fynbos just outside the Cape of Good Hope nature Reserve. This leads us right amongst a troop of wild baboons where Jenni explains their behavioural patterns such as grooming, feeding, communication, along with their astonishing social structures and codes. This unique experience brings us close-up to these fascinating animals, which are somehow so similar to human beings, yet have been mistakenly portrayed. A great opportunity for photographers!

Day 4:

DISCOVER THE FYNBOS AT THE CAPE OF GOOD HOPE

In the midst of Cape Point (or alternatively at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens), Ince - nature conservationist with her botany background and real passion for the Cape Fynbos - unfolds the wonders of our indigenous plants, their properties, as well as their traditional and contemporary uses by the indigenous KhoiSan and other South African communities. The Cape Fynbos (meaning "fine bush") comprises extraordinary species of the Cape Floral Kingdom, which have adapted to their environment and play a vital role in the eco-system of the Cape.

Day 5:

DIVING WITH SEALS

Experience snorkeling and scuba diving with the playful Cape Fur Seals at Seal Island or at Duiker Island off the Atlantic Coast of Cape Town! A qualified dive master will accompany you to discover this enchanting world of the seal and other wonderful marine creatures.

Day 6:

SAFARI: TRACKING 4 OF THE BIG 5 AT AQUILA

In less than 2 hours travel via the scenic Du Toitskloof Pass and endless winelands you reach Aquila Private Game Reserve. A welcome cocktail will await your arrival whilst you relax by the rock swimming pool in summer, or enjoying a roaring log fire in our cigar bar or lounge in winter. Breakfast and lunch are served in the restaurant or outdoor african lapa.
From there you depart on a three-hour game drive with one of our experienced rangers to track 4 of the "big 5" including Lion, Leopard, Rhino and buffalo. Also possible is the visit of world-renowned Khoi San Bushmen rock art sites. Snacks and 'champagne' are served on the game drive whilst soaking in the panoramic view of the reserve.

Day 7:

BIRD WATCHING IN THE RONDEVLEI nature RESERVE

South Africa is well known for its incredible variety of bird species. 225 species have been listed at the wetland of Rondevlei nature Reserve. On our guided walk you will also have the opportunity to spot hippos, otters, porcupines and other wild animals.

The package excludes flights. The prices are subject to fluctuating exchange rates and will be adjusted accordingly. All offers are subject to availability. Our terms and conditions apply.
